Seafood Processor (Calgary, AB)

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Seafood Production team member will be accountable for the processing and production of Seafood products at C2C Premium Seafoods, a division of Centennial Foodservice (CFS). They will achieve this through working within a likeminded team. Duties include:

• Packaging fresh and frozen seafood
• Cutting and processing seafood as required
• Quality control & assurance for all products coming from the seafood room, fresh & frozen
• Champion and enforce the Code of Conduct and CFS policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to CFS Health and Safety Programs and initiatives
• Ensure that standards for sanitation and food safety are met or exceeded
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Willing to work as required with various shift starts and finishes
• Experience in Seafood Processing an asset but not required
• Able to work in an area with Seafood/ Shell fish
• Able to work in a wet, refrigerated environment
• Must be willing to work any shift when required
• Cutting experience is an asset
• Good leadership abilities, experience with diverse teams preferred
• Be able to work as a team & actively participate in all room tasks (e.g. cutting, portioning, packing)
• Position location is Calgary, AB
