BPS -K9 is currently looking to hire Static guards for one of our 24/7 contract sites in Crossfield.

Wage is $24/Hr for Crossfield site only, Which is contract based and current end date is unknown.

BPS K9s Incentive Programs include:

Candidates must

• Have a valid Alberta Security Guard License
• Have own vehicle to get to sites.*** (if you do not have a vehicle please apply once you do)
• Be available for any of the following shifts: Days / Afternoons / Evenings / Overnights / Weekends / 4 on 4 off / Holidays
• Fluency / proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Meet the physical demands of the job (extensive periods of walking, standing, and stairs)
• Work in all types of weather (sun, rain, snow,) both indoors or outdoors **

Duties of a Static Security Guard include:

• Conducting foot patrols, access control
• Responding to alarms / emergencies
• Completing detailed shift reports and incident reports
• Following company and client polices
• Reacting appropriately in stressful situations (calm and non-violent)
• Being professional while representing the company and clients at all times

Candidates will be skilled in the following:

• Basic to Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Email)
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to work independently
