Job description

We are looking for an energetic and outgoing hospitality career minded server to join the team at Beyond sushi. Someone with strong leadership skills, enthusiastic and passionate about the food and wine industry. Most importantly, looking for an experienced server who creates a positive experience for all our guests and for the rest of the team by being professional, focused, knowledgeable and reliable.

• Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the points of service
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
• Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services
• Utilize seat-specific ordering
• Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS syste
• Set up dish station, including dish machines and sinksProperly wash, stack, and store: china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers
• Support kitchen staff in maintaining a clean environment, including sweeping and mopping
• Maintain trash cans throughout shift and remove full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth, or requested by the Chef, as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: From $15.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Bay, ON P1B 0C8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• Customer service: 1 year (required)
