General Description & Primary Role
As the Service Coordinator for Corporate Networks you will be responsible for ensuring efficient utilization of technical resources to ensure service delivery. This role is focused on customer experience while ensuring efficiency and quality.
Individual will be responsible for coordinating daily workload and monitoring accordingly. The Service Coordinator will also be the main point of contact for client service requests and the main contact for scheduling and coordination for all technical resources.
Responsibilities by Function
Service Delivery / Coordination
- Triaging tickets to ensure accuracy in client information, request, priority and agreement allocation
- Scheduling technical workload daily to the appropriate technician based on priority and skill set needed
- Monitoring schedules and workload for efficiency, escalations and priorities
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service for clients
- Maintain communication with clients to provide them with updates and changes
- Handling client concerns or escalating to service manager if needed
Quality Assurance
- Reviewing all tickets daily for billing and efficiency
- Ensuring daily routines are completed by all
- Reviewing time sheets for issues and concerns
Purchasing and Inventory Control:
- Researching and providing recommendations on solutions
- Working with vendors to ensure we are receiving the best pricing
- Evaluating and creating purchase orders for product needed.
- Ensure we are capitalizing on all vendor and manufacturer rebates
- Maintaining inventory controls
- Building and maintaining vendor relations
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Proficient with general office applications.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to establish and accomplish goals with limited direct supervision
- Good understanding of IT or a strong willingness to learn
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff and clients
- Experience in a scheduling / dispatch role an asset
- Maintain a positive attitude with clients and employees always.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- College Diploma in a related discipline
- 3-5 years in a scheduling / dispatch role an asset
- Experience in an IT services industry an asset
- Valid Alberta Drivers License
