We are currently seeking qualified Shift Supervisors at our Brampton, ON (automotive) plant.

Job title: Shift supervisor (NIGHT SHIFT)

Job requirements:

• Supervise unionized hourly staff up to 40 employees or more.
• Resolve and manage client and supplier concerns.
• Dependable individual that will take ownership of their shift and work with other supervisors in a Team environment.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems
• Go the extra mile to ensure deadlines are met and willing to work extra hours if required to complete the required task or assignments.
• Able to manage multiple jobs, while ensuring safety, quality and work is being performed to a high level of efficiency.
• Interact and have a proven track record of customer service excellence.
• Self-driven individual, that is continuously looking for ways to make improvements. Ability to resolve issues as they arise.
• Microsoft office package experience: Word, Excel
• Industrial paint system cleaning & janitorial experience would be an asset.
• WHIMS, lockout, confined space trained, rescue trained would be an asset. Company willing to train.
