Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accomplish construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
- Directly contribute to production by working alongside crew when necessary.
- Provide a direct link to the clients ensuring communications are handled in a professional manner while managing and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Review construction drawings and specifications, planning and preparation of execution, inspection, testing, and safe work plans, and pre-emptively address potential conflicts / problem areas.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing health and safety standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Managing sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
- Communicate and work with the Project Manager and other personnel as required with respect to changes to methods, materials, budget, schedules, and procedures.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of extensive experience in residential renovations and/or new home construction.
· Journeyman/woman carpentry ticket.
· Experience managing construction projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly.
· Strong leadership qualities and experience mentoring a team.
· Ability to offer a high level of customer service.
· Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
