Position Summary
As a Staff Pharmacist you will be reporting to the Pharmacy Manager within our Vancouver pharmacy. You will be responsible for the execution and distribution of medications for our contracted Homes, in accordance with provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of residential care pharmacy. This position is for a one-year contract, to cover a maternity leave.

Your Day to Day
- Accurate and timely packaging/dispensing of prescriptions
- Consult and provide advice with key stakeholders of the facilities such as managers, physicians, and nurses
- Maintains and adheres to the company’s policy & procedure manual
- Performs other related duties assigned to support CareRx
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, fully licensed in BC and in good standing
- Minimum one year of pharmacy experience and dispensing experience preferred
- Completion of the BCPhA OAT-CAMPP training program - Mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interacting with other health care professionals
- Experience with Kroll Software
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are required
- Have a flexible work schedule (30 hours minimum/week, with weekend availability)
