The opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Accounting, the incumbent will be mainly responsible for bank reconciliations and the full intercompany recharge and reconciliation process.
Located at the Head Office in Montreal, the General accounting department manages all the day-to-day accounting operations (payables and general ledger) and reporting of the head office.
The role
- Prepare and validate bank related entries and month end reconciliation
- Process intercompany invoices in the system (recharge, interests, loans and others)
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of the intercompany suspense account
- Prepare the quarterly intercompany reconciliation
- Preparation of NCIB monthly file
- Preparation of Treasury wire transfers
- Back up for Payroll

What you bring to the role
Knowledge & Expertise
- College degree in Accounting
- Motivated professional with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of payroll tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French
- Can perform tasks independently, yet capable to work in a team environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365)
