Position: Warehouse Worker

G-P Distributing is hiring Warehouse Staff. This is a fast paced, physically demanding role that is involved in the efficient handling of products to our customers and in our warehouse.

Job Type: Warehouse Class: Full-time (37.5hrs) Hourly Pay: $18 per hour

Hours of Work: Varied Shifts and schedules NOC Code: NOC 6622

Key responsibilities

• Quickly and Accurately pick, pack and label customer orders

• Perform general warehouse activities including loading and unloading of transport trucks

• General warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance and repairs

• Quality Control of Products while picking paying particular attention to damaged, poor quality or expired product

• accomplish the objectives set out by the Operations Supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment

• Self-motivated

• Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task

• Able to comfortably lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

• Must carry a valid class 5 driver’s license

• Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations

• Past work experience in a warehouse and/ or food service environment an asset
