We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic employees to assist in (driveway, entryway, and walkway) snow removal for our commercial and residential clients. We are looking for shovelers with the opportunity for advancement. This position may be of interest to EI program participants or seasonal workers looking for the opportunity to earn some extra income. The shoveling work is physically demanding and we pride ourselves in appreciating employees who go above and beyond what is required by cross training them into various other positions.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer demands
• Possesses a heavy-duty jacket, gloves, pants, etc. to work outside in wet and cold conditions for extended periods of time
• Physically fit with strong stamina
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to comfortably shovel and lift snow repetitively
• Good observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a working cell phone 24/7
• Please note: this position is on-call and, although we can sometimes provide a 24-48 notice before a shift, we cannot provide a schedule.
• Must have reliable vehicle readily available to commute from home to home at any given hour of the day
• Must be available 24/7 to meet our customer demands, beginning November - April (including weekends and holidays as necessary)

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
