What will you do?

• Designing and developing cutting-edge in vehicle apps, delivered to millions of Vehicles around the world.
• Work with the most talented individual on features that cross platforms, languages, and protocols to deliver Software Define Vehicle Services
• You will be writing the challenging core of the lower levels of the apps and also the complex UI that will require deep knowledge of the tech and your full creativity.
• You will be challenged to learn new things, use new technology, and participate in the Infotainment and HMI community

JOB DUTIES:

• Leads and generates technical solutions including specifying of requirements, functional decomposition, analysis, development and testing for current, new and major programs
• Lead development of software system team design content and software anomaly corrections.
• Performs complex design analysis
• Specifies and balances system requirements
• Provide, communicate, and support common best practices among software community
• Performs as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least one platform or application component

Additional Job Description

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Android Application/SystemUI/UI Framework experience
• Strong Kotlin/Java knowledge
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting skills on a bench / emulator / simulator
• Experience working with large code bases, developing entirely new code and maintaining existing code, within a CI/CD environment, over multiple model years
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
• Familiar with Scrum/Agile (SAFe) software development framework
• Experience with Jira, RTC, GIT, Gerrit, OpenGrok and Artifactory

Preferred Skills:

• Google Automotive Services
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
• Embedded Software Development experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl
• Experience with Automotive Diagnostics and CAN/ODI preferred
