As the Spatial Data Analyst, it will be your responsibility to conduct advanced spatial data analysis in support of management decision making on resource planning, land management or other program issues.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree (or higher) in Geographic Information Systems or in a natural resource related discipline (e.g. Geography, Forestry, Mining, Environment) AND one (1) year related* experience; OR,
- Technical Diploma in Geomatics/GIS and two (2) years of related* experience; OR,
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
Experience:
- Related experience must include:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with ArcGIS.
- Experience designing and developing customized spatial applications.
- Experience with consulting or providing expert geospatial advice and recommendations in order to support the needs of natural resource clients and users.
- Experience delivering spatial analysis products in support of clients’ business needs.
- Experience using Python and/or Model Builder.
- Experience with developing web mapping and web application products (e.g. ArcGIS Online).
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
- Completed ArcPro training.
- Experience building spatial mobile solutions.
- Experience with SQL, R and/or Javascript.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MS Access, Oracle etc.)
- Experience identifying training needs, developing training material and/or delivering training to support business area staff and clients in the use of a variety of custom or standard data applications, tools or GIS technology/software.
