Critical Access Hospital located in western Iowa has a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Utilization Review Nurse to join their team! Great work environment, benefits, and pay.
Salary: $38.00-$42.00/Hourly (DOE)

Utilization Review Nurse Opportunity:
- Full time
- Monday-Friday
- Registered Nurse will be responsible for collaborating with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote quality care outcomes, and the effective use of resources.
- Reviewing assigned admissions, continued stays, utilization practices and discharge planning according to approved clinically valid criteria and meeting the daily deadlines to obtain authorizations and complete other pertinent processes.
Utilization Review Nurse Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 3 or more years of previous Med-Surg clinical care experience
- Current RN License in the state of Iowa
- BLS Certification
Utilization Review Nurse Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Utilization review experience with in-patient assessment, treatment planning, CMS quality improvement guidelines preferred
- Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid and communication with external review organizations or comparable entitles preferred
