Job Title: UX/Graphics Designer

Job Summary

Our startup medical software company based in Oklahoma City is seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer with a background in graphics design to join our team. In this role, you will create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for our medical software applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that the user experience is intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable for our users. Your role will be critical in shaping the future of our products, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the healthcare industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team, offering excellent compensation commensurate with experience, full health coverage, and equity/shares as part of our comprehensive compensation program. The position also includes three weeks of vacation time, with flexibility for remote work during vacation and the option to bank hours. Relocation to the Oklahoma City area is required for this position, as it is necessary to keep our team together and focused on our current projects, customers, and grant requirements. While we offer a hybrid work model with some flexibility, there may be times when deadlines and customer engagements require additional work outside of standard hours. As a critical member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the company founders, exceptional technical professionals, customers, and prominent industry leaders to deliver personalized healthcare solutions and other groundbreaking innovations to the medical industry. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design are highly preferred, as this allows us to consider TN1 visas from Canada or Mexico. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, end-users, product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and design solutions that meet user needs

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes illustrating design concepts and user interactions

• Develop high-fidelity graphics, icons, and illustrations that enhance the user experience and reflect our brand identity

• Conduct user research and usability testing with customer end-users to gather feedback and iterate on designs

• Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and templates to ensure consistency and scalability across our product portfolio

• Develop visual communication designs to assist our social media manager or marketing team with their efforts across multiple media: video, graphics, and web

• Stay current with industry trends and the best UX design and graphic design practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX and graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills and expertise

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software

• Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience across multiple industries, including financial services, industrial interfaces, and healthcare

• Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Flexible hybrid work environment, our development office is located in Oklahoma City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
