Job Summary

Southport Truck Group is a high-volume Freightliner & Western Star dealership seeking a full-time Customer Service Advisor. A successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to provide professional customer-focused service is a must. We’re looking for someone who wants to build valued business relationships with our customers.

Essential Duties

• Schedules service appointments, if applicable.
• Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance of vehicle(s).
• Confers with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs.
• Prepares and provide customers a complete written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Obtains proper authorization before any repairs are performed.
• Handles inquiries regarding service and work in process. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time, explains cost, and/or time requirements in detail.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order, as appropriate.
• Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
• Keeps service department forms, processes, and guides up to date.
• Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned.
